FAQ

I see the videos in the community.  Can you tell me where to find the videos that are downloadable?

Yes - all on this page.

With a lot of contributors, the Bridge can get cluttered... what do you recommend for auditing courses to ensure they are still relevant? and once a course is complete by all users, do you recommend archiving it?

We have some content on our knowledge base for Cleaning up content. Additionally - we recommend using our Content Management Tracker to help keep things clean in the future.

As far as our recommendations, we’d disregard content that has a deleted_at or archived_at date and anything that does not have a published_at date. Next, look at whether or not content has an author (without an author, it’s likely not getting much attention). We’d also advise seeing the date in the updated_at field to see if courses are starting to get stale.

Archiving content is your preference (we have an article here on what happens when content is archived with enrollments). If you never intend to use it again, we do recommend archiving so that no one accidentally assigns it. Note that a piece of content can always be unarchived (and any enrollments will be restored although progress would be lost). You can still pull reports in Analytics for archived learnables.

Are there videos for manager and/or supervisor roles? Like how to view analytics? View their staff?

Yes - feel free to view here.

When uploading custom fields, do those fields have to be in our regular sync file or can it be a one time upload and the field will persist even after the daily data upload?

Those will persist.

Is it possible to add categories within BAM?

Not quite yet. Definitely something our product team is curious about and looking into.
